Our management committee is made up of members who care about the club, the sport, and the community that surrounds it.
Each one brings their own experience, steady hands, and clear-headed decision‑making to help guide the club’s direction, and support the events and activities that keeps our green thriving.
Together, they shape the future of the club, keep things running smoothly, and aim to make sure every member feels included.
Meet the current management committee members below.

The club’s Management Committee is made up of the 2 Presidents and 2 Vice Presidents above and various Office Bearers, Committee Convenors and club members who are all member-elected at our AGM.
They say money can’t buy happiness — but it can buy fresh mats, new windows for the clubhouse, and the occasional sausage roll or pie n beans for events!
Meet the team who keep our books balanced, our bills paid, and our dreams of a new lawnmower alive.
Armed with calculators, Excel spreadsheets, and a suspicious love of receipts, the Finance Committee ensures every penny is accounted for — even the ones found under the tables in the clubhouse.
They may not always bowl the fastest ends, but when it comes to numbers, they’re always on a roll!
If you’ve ever wondered who decides when it’s your turn to play, why you’re suddenly in a triples match on Saturday morning, or how the club trophy mysteriously reappeared after a year in someone’s shed — look no further.
The Games Committee are the masterminds behind the matches, the schedulers of showdowns, and the referees of friendly rivalries. With clipboards in hand and a love of fair play (and biscuits), they keep the green running smoother than a freshly polished jack.
They may not always agree on the rules of “friendly competition,” but they do agree on one thing: no one escapes the fixture list.
They say you can’t play good bowls without good spirits — and luckily, our Bar Committee has both in abundance!
These fine folks are the guardians of the optics, the curators of crisps, and the only people who know exactly how many packets of peanuts it takes to run a successful tournament.
Whether it’s sourcing your favourite malt, pulling pints, or diplomatically settling debates over whose round it is — they do it all with a smile (and occasionally a soggy paper straw).
They may not always remember your bowl size, but they’ll never forget your name or your usual tipple.
They say the grass is greener on the other side — but that’s only because our Green & Property Committee got there first.
These green-fingered boys, who are also responsible for our property upkeep, are the reason our greens roll true, our hedges stay trimmed, and our clubhouse doesn’t look like it’s been hit by a rogue jack. Whether it’s fixing a leaky tap, wall-mounting the TV’s in the lounge, or coaxing the grass into championship condition, they do it all with a smile (and a pocketful of cable ties).
Armed with rakes, rollers, and an uncanny ability to find the one iny leak under the u-bend no one else noticed, they’re the quiet champions behind every smooth end and sunny afternoon on the green.
They say you can’t please everyone — but don’t tell that to our Social Committee. These event planners, DJs, bingo-callers, cocktail-makers and raffle wranglers are the life and soul of the club (and the reason you stayed for “just one more” after the last games night).
From themed party nights to ‘cocktails and canvas painting’, bingo, karaoke, and many an event with a pie ‘n’ beans thrown in, they’re the masterminds behind every laugh, raffle-win, and slightly-too-competitive dance off. If there’s music playing, decorations up, or a suspiciously large cheese board on your table — you can bet they had something to do with it.
Often armed with notepads, calendars, and an uncanny ability to stretch a budget further than any beer belly on Opening Day, they make sure there’s always something to look forward to — even in the off-season.
They don’t just organise events — they create our club’s memories (and occasionally, mild hangovers).
