Some match days are a reminder of why club sport means so much. It’s about more than the final score — it’s the shared effort, the atmosphere around the green, and the people who make the occasion special.
Stewarton enjoyed one of those days today, as the Ladies section secured a well‑earned 42–35 victory over Kilmaurs in warm and welcoming conditions. It was very much a game of two halves, with Kilmaurs leading across all rinks at the midway point before Stewarton produced a strong second‑half comeback to turn the match in their favour.
Special mention go to Stewarton’s highest up rink on the day:
- Janette Prentice
- Pamela Sibbald
- Irene Rosebottom
Big thanks to the team in the kitchen and our bar staff for working hard behind the scenes.
