Stewarton Bowling Club’s Ladies’ Closing Day took place on Saturday 26th September, bringing another successful season for the ladies’ section to a fitting conclusion.
Fortunately, the weather remained dry throughout the day, allowing everyone to enjoy the occasion and making for a pleasant end to the outdoor campaign. The ladies came together to enjoy one final afternoon on the green, reflect on the season’s achievements and catch up with friends before the winter months.
Congratulations go to Irene Rosbotham and Sharon Steele, who were crowned winners of the Rae Brown Salver. Well done to both ladies on a deserved success.
The club would like to thank all the ladies who attended and supported the event. Your enthusiasm, commitment and support throughout the season have helped make 2026 another memorable and successful year for ladies’ bowling at Stewarton Bowling Club.
A big thank you is also extended to everyone who donated raffle prizes. The generosity shown by members and supporters is greatly appreciated and helps contribute to the success of events such as this.
While Ladies’ Closing Day marks the end of the ladies’ outdoor season, the club still has one more important date in the calendar. We look forward to welcoming members to Gents’ Closing Day on Saturday 3rd October, where we will once again celebrate another successful season on the green.
