Stewarton Bowling Club enjoyed another successful outing in their annual fixture against Hyndland Bowling Club, recording a well‑earned 113–80 victory. The match was played in excellent spirit, continuing the tradition of friendly competition between the two clubs.
Following the game, Hyndland President Graham Hogg presented our President Davy Hutchison with the annual trophy, recognising Stewarton’s strong performance on the day.
President Graham also extended thanks to those who contributed to the day’s hospitality.
On the green, Stewarton celebrated a notable achievement: for the first time in many years, the club recorded joint highest‑up rink winners. The successful rinks were skipped by President Davy Hutchison alongside Kevin McMullen, Wullie Ross and Jimmy Fleming, and by Hugh Sharp with teammates Neil Campbell, Stephen Hay and Allan Andrew. Their combined efforts contributed significantly to the overall result and were warmly acknowledged by the club.
