Stewarton Bowling Club enjoyed a highly successful afternoon on home ground as they hosted Hyndland Bowling Club for their long‑standing annual fixture. The match was played in excellent spirit, with Stewarton delivering a confident and consistent performance to secure a 113–80 victory in shots.
Following the game, Hyndland President Graham Hogg presented our President Davy Hutchison with the annual trophy, recognising Stewarton’s strong performance on the day.
President Graham also extended thanks to those who contributed to the day’s hospitality.
On the green, Stewarton celebrated a notable achievement: for the first time in many years, the club recorded joint highest‑up rink winners. The successful rinks were skipped by President Davy Hutchison alongside Kevin McMullen, Wullie Ross and Jimmy Fleming, and by Hugh Sharp with teammates Neil Campbell, Stephen Hay and Allan Andrew. Their combined efforts contributed significantly to the overall result and were warmly acknowledged by the club.
