Stewarton Bowling Club is pleased to offer members the opportunity to attend a FREE Defibrillator Training Session on Sunday 11th October from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Taking place at the club, this valuable training session will help members develop the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in a cardiac emergency.
The training will be delivered by St John Scotland, one of the country’s leading first aid and community health organisations. Their experienced trainers will provide practical guidance on recognising a cardiac emergency, performing CPR, and using a defibrillator safely and confidently.
As a community-focused club, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and safety of our members both on and off the green. With a defibrillator installed on-site at the club, it is important that members feel confident in knowing how and when it can be used. This training session will provide practical, hands-on experience in CPR and defibrillator use, helping participants develop the skills and confidence to respond effectively in an emergency while awaiting professional medical assistance.
Stewarton Bowling Club President David Hutchison said:
“The safety and wellbeing of our members is extremely important to us. We are delighted to be partnering with St John Scotland to provide this free training opportunity. Learning CPR and how to use a defibrillator are skills that could one day help save a life, and we would encourage as many members as possible to take advantage of this session.”
