Stewarton Bowling Club enjoyed a successful day at the Champion of Champions competition (from 2025) held at Kilmaurs.
Congratulations to Hugh Sharp, who secured the Senior Singles title, and to Ali Gilbert and David Bentley, who claimed victory in the Pairs competition. These are excellent achievements and reflect a high standard of play throughout the event.
The club’s rinks teams were unfortunate to miss out on a place in the final, narrowly losing by two shots. The triples also came close, losing by a single shot on the final end of their match. In addition, Scott Carline was defeated in his final after a strong performance.
All Stewarton players involved are to be commended for their efforts and commitment on the day.
The club would also like to extend its thanks to Kilmaurs Bowling Club for hosting the event and providing a well‑organised and welcoming venue.
