The atmosphere at the club was charged with anticipation this evening, Friday 4 September. as members gathered for the Gents Championship Triples Final, marking one of the most exciting fixtures of the season.

The final featured two teams: Mikey Johnstone, Calum McCrae, and Hugh Mitchell versus Jim Wilson, Hugh Fulton, and Neil Campbell. Both trios had demonstrated exceptional consistency and teamwork throughout the championship, earning their places in this decisive match.

After a closely contested game, Jim, Hugh, and Neil emerged victorious, securing the Championship Triples title for 2026. Their win was met with warm applause from fellow members and supporters, recognising not only their performance tonight but also their dedication across the season.
