As the bowling season continues to gather pace, we would like to confirm the start date of the Whappenshaw and an important update regarding bar opening hours for members.
Whappenshaw Commencement Date
The weekly Whappenshaw is due to commence on Monday 4th May 2026. This marks a key point in the club calendar and provides members with another opportunity to enjoy competitive and social bowling as the season progresses.
Summer Bar Hours Begin
From the same date, the club bar will also move to its summer opening hours. This seasonal change is designed to better accommodate members as activity around the club increases during the lighter evenings.
