On Saturday 1 August 2026, Stewarton Bowling Club welcomed players and supporters for this year’s Invitation Triples, sponsored by Bauen Design [opens in new tab]. Although the event began with fewer teams than expected, the day proved highly successful, offering competitive play and excellent hospitality for all involved.

The Games Committee — Clive, Kevin, Stuart and Davy — ensured the smooth running of matches from start to finish. Early‑morning refreshments were organised by Ally, Neil, Mikey and both Stuarts, who provided rolls, teas and coffees for participants as they arrived. Their efforts helped set a positive tone for the day.

The final produced an exciting finish, with Mikey Johnstone, Sal Fulton and Neil Campbell emerging as winners after a closely fought match against Ali Gilbert, Bruce Dunbar and David Bentley.

The Club extends its thanks to all participants, volunteers and supporters who contributed to an excellent day of bowling.
