Stewarton Bowling Club welcomed Irvine Winton on Saturday for the clubs’ annual fixture. In a competitive afternoon of play, Stewarton were edged out by 93–79 shots, with both sides contributing to an enjoyable and good‑spirited occasion.

Post-match, Vice President Kevin McMullen handed over the annual cup to Irvine Winton President Jim Walker, who expressed how much he had enjoyed his visit to Stewarton and the hospitality shown throughout the day.

Stewarton acknowledged the generosity of all players who donated raffle prizes and took part in this long‑standing fixture, helping to maintain the friendly tradition between the two clubs.

The highest‑up rink for Stewarton comprised Jimmy Fleming, Jimmy Goral, Allan Andrew and George Moncur, whose strong performance was a highlight of the day.
